1. Good News

This is a refreshing example of smart product design: http://vimeo.com/52953790. I like the idea that they are able to do this even though they must work with the sort of morons who add obnoxious "music" to their video.

2. Product Highlight

Many of our readers are business executives, some being owners of small businesses and some being in senior management of larger businesses. So here's a product offering for you folks (and thank you for subscribing).

It's the hidden camera sprinkler head. It looks like a real fire sprinkler head, but hides a Sony CCD camera that secretly records everything going on.

There are cheap ones that record in grainy black and white. This one records in color. Anyone involved in security knows how advantageous that really is.

It's easy to install and operate, and can add a whole new dimension to premises security.

Obviously, it's battery-operated. The high-capacity battery is rechargeable and because this camera has motion detection activation, you won't drain the battery by dint of recording "nothing going on."

Some uses:

  • Record job interviews, review later to compare candidates.
  • Capture footage for security purposes at school events, association dinners, or political events.
  • Monitor apartment complexes, warehouses, stockrooms, offices, and other areas that are sprinkler-protected.

3. Brainpower tip

Special thanks to Ed for this video:

4. Finance tip

With apologies to Sammie Davis, Junior, here's his hit "The Candy Man" redone as "The Government Can." It helps explain why it's so hard for ordinary people to make it today.

5. Security tip

Learn from this example: http://www.sunnewsnetwork.ca/video/featu...n/2081848359001

Just because something is monumentally stupid doesn't mean it won't happen. Something monumentally stupid happened in Canada, and now the stupidity is poised to happen here.

You can help stop the stupidity, before it is forced upon us. Write to your misrepresentative today and tell them there's a reason why lions kill antelopes rather than the other way around. In addition to being stupid, criminal protection laws are immoral in several ways. Let's keep them off the books.

6. Health tip/Fitness tips

Do you know which corporation gave us PCBs for decades after they knew about the huge health risks? If not, I'll tell you in a moment. Please note that this potent toxin and carcinogen is so pervasive that even penguins now have it in their bloodstreams.

Do you know which corporation is killing off the world's bees with their flagship product? Do you know that that product is? The product is RoundUp, and it's made by Monsanto--the same corporation that polluted the world with PCBs. RoundUp is an integral part of GMO grains.

The genetic modification is they shoot an animal gene into the plant seed to give it resistance to RoundUp. Then they market "RoundUp Ready Wheat," RoundUp Ready Soy," and so on. They don't merely market it, they use Gestapo tactics to force growers to use it. And nearly all of commercially available corn, wheat, and soy today contains the powerful neurotoxin RoundUp. Do NOT eat these products.

What is Monsanto's response to the bad reputation this has caused? They've followed the lead of Goebbels and launched a massive propaganda campaign.

Big thanks to Ed for bringing that Mercola article to my attention. Yes, it's the same Ed who provided this issue's brainpower tip item. Looks to me like Ed is one smart and well-informed hombre.

At www.supplecity.com, you'll find plenty of informative, authoritative articles on maintaining a lean, strong physique. It has nothing to do with long workouts or impossible to maintain diets. In fact:

  • The best workouts are short and intense.
  • A good diet contains far more flavors and satisfaction than the typical American diet.

7. Factoid

The San Francisco Cable cars are the only mobile National Monuments. CONgress has been very mobile about spending us into monumental debt; I'm sure it pleases their corporate sponsors but it's very hard on the rest of us.

8. Thought for the Day

Why do they call it a building when it's already built?

Authorship

The views expressed in this e-newsletter are generally not shared by criminals, zombies, or brainwashed individuals.

Except where noted, this e-newsletter is entirely the work of Mark Lamendola. Anything presented as fact can be independently verified. Often, sources are given; but where not given, they are readily available to anyone who makes the effort.

Mark provides information from either research or his own areas of established expertise. Sometimes, what appears to be a personal opinion is the only possibility when applying sound logic--reason it out before judging! (That said, some personal opinions do appear on occasion).

The purpose of this publication is to inform and empower its readers (and save you money!).

Personal note from Mark: I value each and every one of you, and I hope that shows in the diligent effort I put into writing this e-newsletter. Thank you for being a faithful reader.
