Gene Roddenberry called space the final frontier. In truth, time is the final frontier. Your ability to manage time determines whether you control the events around you--or those
events control you.

I am noted for handling an immense amount of work, and doing it well. People often ask me, "Do you ever sleep?" The answer, of course, is yes. What they don't know, but you will, is how to make the most of the limited time you have. If you want a peek at some of the things I have to say, hop on Google or Yahoo and search for: Mark+Lamendola+Time+Manage Look through the hundreds of results, and you will find interviews of me in publications you will recognize (for example, Better Homes and Gardens and Women's Day). I've also been interviewed by dozens of online publishers, editors of professional organization newsletters, university students, and other people who were looking for outstanding advice on time management and found it when they talked with me. The thing is, they got some good information by interviewing me for their article or research project. Think of what you would get by having me speak at your event. And it's not a memory dump. I don't try to impress the audience with how many tips I can tell them in the allotted time. That would be a waste of their time now, wouldn't it? I use an interactive, informal style. I do not believe in "death by PowerPoint." I normally begin by asking individuals why they are at
this presentation and why the topic is important to them.
My focus is on entertaining and informing my audience--meeting their needs. I do not overwhelm with data or try to provide a memory dump. Instead, I help people understand key concepts, remember principles, and take away specifics they can use right away. And I make them feel good about it. |
