| Some jokes for you:
A blonde, a brunette, and a redhead all work at the same office
for a female boss who always goes home early.
"Hey, girls," says the brunette, "let's go home early tomorrow.
She'll never know."
So the next day, they all leave right after the boss does. The
brunette gets some extra gardening done, the redhead goes to a bar,
and the blonde goes home to find her husband having intimate
relations with the female boss. She quietly sneaks out of the house
and returns at her normal time.
"That was fun," says the brunette. "We should do it again
sometime."
"No way," says the blonde. "I almost got caught."

As a senior citizen was driving down the freeway, his car phone
rang.
Answering, he heard his wife's voice urgently warning him,
"Herman, I
just heard on the news that there's a car going the wrong way on
Interstate 77. Please be careful!"
"Heck," said Herman, "It's not just one car. It's hundreds of
them!"

A local business was looking for office help. They put a sign in
the window saying:
HELP WANTED Must be a good typist and be good with a computer.
Successful applicant must be bilingual. We are an Equal Opportunity
Employer.
A short time later a lovely golden retriever dog trotted up to
the window, saw the sign and went inside. He looked at the
receptionist and wagged his tail, then walked over to the sign,
looked at it, whined and pawed the air. The receptionist called the
office manager. He was surprised, to say the least to see a canine
applicant. However, the dog looked determined, so he led him into
the office.
Inside, the dog jumped up on a chair and stared at the manager
expectantly. The manager said, "I can't hire you. The sign says you
must be able to type." The dog jumped down, went to the typewriter
and proceeded to quickly type a perfect business letter. He took out
the page and trotted over to the manager, gave it to him, then
jumped back up on the chair.
The manager was stunned, but told the dog, "That was fantastic,
but I'm sorry. The sign clearly says that whoever I hire has to be
good with a computer."
The dog jumped down again, went to the computer and proceeded to
demonstrate his expertise with various programs, produced a sample
spreadsheet and database, then presented them to the manager.
The manager was dumbfounded! He said to the dog, "Hey, I realize
that you are a very intelligent applicant and have fantastic talent,
but you're a dog -- no way could I hire you."
The dog jumped down and went to the sign in the window and
pointed his paw at the words, "Equal Opportunity Employer."
The exasperated manager said, "Yes, I know what the sign says.
But the sign also says you have to be bilingual."
The dog looked him straight in the eye and said, "Meow!"

The employer asked the applicant, "I see you were last employed
by a psychiatrist. Why did you leave?"
"Well," she replied, "I just couldn't win.
"If I was late to work, I was hostile.
"If I was early, I had an anxiety complex. If I was on time, I
was compulsive."

The following mind-boggling attempt at a crime spree in
Washington, DC appeared to be the robber's first (and last), due to
his lack of a previous record of violence, and his terminally stupid
choices:
1. His target was H&J Leather & Firearms; A gun shop specializing
in handguns.
2. The shop was full of firearms customers.
3. To enter the shop, the robber had to step around a marked
police patrol car parked at the front door.
4. A uniformed officer was standing at the counter, having coffee
before work. Upon seeing
the officer, the would-be robber announced a hold-up, and fired a
few wild shots from a
target pistol. The officer and a clerk promptly returned fire,
the police officer with a 9mm GLOCK 17, the clerk with a 50 DESERT
EAGLE, assisted by several customers who also drew their guns,
several of whom also drew and fired.
The robber was pronounced dead at the scene by Paramedics. Crime
scene investigators
located 47 expended cartridge cases in the shop. The subsequent
autopsy revealed 23
gunshot wounds. Ballistics identified rounds from 7 different
weapons. No one
else was hurt in the exchange of fire.
The above is from a joke list. It's not true, but it is based on
an actual case. What really happened was, as is often the case when
armed citizens are present, the criminal surrendered without a shot
being fired. The only "missle" was the one that filled his pants
upon hearing all of the pistols, shotguns, and rifles being
chambered.

According to the Knight-Ridder News Service, the inscription on
the metal bands used by the U.S. Department of the Interior to tag
migratory birds has been changed.
The bands used to bear the address of the Washington Biological
Survey, abbreviated, "Wash. Biol. Surv." until the agency received
the following letter from an Arkansas camper:
"Dear Sirs: While camping last week I shot one of your birds. I
think it was a crow. I followed the cooking instructions on the leg
tag and I want to tell you it was horrible."

A woman goes into Bass Pro Shop to buy a rod and reel for her
grandson's birthday. She doesn't know which one to get so she just
grabs one and goes over to the counter.
A Bass Pro Shop associate is standing there wearing dark shades.
She says, "Excuse me, sir. Can you tell me anything about this rod
and reel?"
He says, "Ma'am, I'm completely blind; but if you'll drop it on
the counter, I can tell you everything from the sound it makes." She
doesn't believe him but drops it on the counter anyway.
He says, "That's a six-foot Shakespeare graphite rod with a Zebco
404 reel and 10-LB. Test line. It's a good all around combination;
and it's on sale this week for only $20.00."
She says, "It's amazing that you can tell all that just by the
sound of it dropping on the counter. I'll take it!" As she opens her
purse, her credit card drops on the floor.
"Oh, that sounds like a Master Card," he says.
She bends down to pick it up and accidentally breaks wind. At
first she is really embarrassed, but then realizes there is no way
the blind clerk could tell it was she who tooted. Being blind, he
wouldn't know that she was the only person around.
The man rings up the sale and says, "That'll be $34.50 plus tax,
coming to . . ."
The woman is totally confused by this and interrupts him. She
asks, "Didn't you tell me the rod and reel were on sale for $20.00?
How did you get $34.50?"
He replies," Yes, Ma'am. The rod and reel is $20.00, but the Duck
Call is $11.00 and the Catfish Bait is $3.50."
