This countermeasures kit provides you the tools to protect your facility from unauthorized surveillance, even from advanced wiretap technology. Includes advanced transmitter detector, infrared probe, wire pair analyzer, advanced wiretap detector, camera probe, and accessories.
How does this CMS-15 differ from the CMS-11? The CMS-15 provides you with the TT-46 Wiretap Detector. It's the only test set that tests single and two line phone systems for series and parallel taps. In fact, it tests every possible combination of wires in a four wire cable. It matters because you can now detect sophisticated taps that use split pairs. When you need the ultimate in surveillance detection, go with the CMS-15.
TD-53 Advanced Transmitter Detector. This tool is the core of this kit. Most bugs rely on transmitters for their operation. Those without transmitters require the spy to enter the premises to retreive the data, which is obviously risky. Thus, the transmitter mode of opeation. You can use the TD-53 to find hidden transmitters. It doesn't matter if they're buried in your home, office, conference room, favorite restaurant, luggage, car, or mobile device. The TD-53 will find them.
P-02 Infrared (IR) Probe. One way spies try to get around the transmitter detection problem is by using infrared and lasers for the transmission. This requires a clear line of sight, but it's doable Unfortunately, you can't detect light beams with an RF detector. The P-02 solves that problem. But not all IR probes are equal. A big advantage of the P-02 is it isn't foiled by another spy measure, which is the amplitude modulated (AM) or pulse frequency modulated (PFM) source. Even better, the P-02 lets you actually listen to what's being transmitted. If that light beam is there to carry voice, you'll hear voice. If it's there to carry some other data, you
have an idea of what that is. This helps provide clues as to what the spy is trying to obtain and that can help you take effective countermeasures.
P-03 Line Driver: This device works with the TD-53 to let you check wire pairs for hidden microphones. The P-03 has two LEDs. One indicates whether there's voltage on a wire pair. The other indicates whether there's current flow in a wire pair when you operate the Line Driver switch. This switch applies a voltage to the wire pair, to activate any voltage-activated microphones. Its A/B switch allows you to reverse the polarity of the voltage, thus enabling you to detect devices that are polarity-sensitive and thus foiling another spy anti-detection measure. Through the TD-53 amplifier and speaker, you can monitor the wire pair to determine if room audio is on the wire pair. Any of these conditions can mean there's a hidden microphone on the wire pair. And you've found it.
P-04 Carrier Current/Video Camera Probe. This device also works with the TD-53. You use it to detect carrier current transmitters and concealed video cameras. What the heck is a carrier current transmitter? It's a low power amplitude-modulate (AM) radio device that uses the AC wiring or phone wiring in a building to transmit a medium frequency signal (also AM). Because of its low power, the area coverage is also low. But it's enough. A wireless room monitor is an example of such a device.
The P-04 probe detects carrier signals from 10 KHz to 600 KHz, and it does this in two ranges to improve accuracy. A big advantage of this device is you don't have to make a physical connection to the lines under test. It uses a directional pickup loop that works by detecting the magnetic field (when current flows through a wire, it induces a magnetic field; this is fundamental to Faraday's Law). The P-04 also feeds a demodulated audio signal to the TD-53 to provide for verification and monitoring.
TT-46 Wiretap Detector: The anti-Patriot Act unleashed a storm of illegal wiretaps by allowing any federal agent to illegally apply a tap with no rationale needed. It's illegal due to violations of several rights enumerated in the Bill of Rights, but now with this illegal law they aren't prosecuted for the wiretapping crimes. To protect your facility (or that of your client), you need to be able to detect wiretaps. Those perpetrating these illegal wiretap crimes already accounted for standard wiretap detection by adapting other technologies. The TT-46 detects these. In even detects the "undectable" split pairs.

A security device is a good investment, but it can do only so much. We offer excellent security devices, and we want you to get the most from your purchase. The following tips will help. We sell some security devices to consumers, so first some tips for those customers. Then some tips for our corporate customers.
Home security. You may have heard the expression, "When seconds count, the cops are only minutes away." Cameras and other detection devices are great, but what's the execution plan? Don't think "detect and report," think "detect and protect." The most effective home protection device is a shotgun. Typically, it doesn't need to be fired to have the desired effect. But this isn't the only protection measure. You can also have an escape and assembly plan, a safe room, or some other measure. Yes, install those detection devices. But don't think that simply knowing your perimeter is breached makes you safe.
