Don't just find hidden microphones, confuse them! The AJ-34 Audio Jammer protects your sensitive conversations by generating a random masking sound. Even a glass pane system can't work against you.
The best security approach tackles threats on multiple planes. This conversation-masking security device adds yet another layer of protection. You may have swept for hidden microphones and you keep away from exterior walls while speaking in hused tones. But that window can still pick up vibrations and transmit your conversation to parties unknown. Why not just run the shower? Aside from the fact that's wasteful, it's not random enough and can be filtered out.
Why It Works
Because the sound from the jammer varies randomly in frequency and amplitude, it cannot be easily filtered and the only sound the eavesdropper will hear is the jammer noise. The convenient end-mounted control lets you select the level of protection for your situation.
This modus means the device is effective against any microphone-based eavesdropping device. Tape recorders? Check. RF transmitters? Got you covered. Hard-wired microphones? Fuggedaboutem. Contact type microphones? No worries. Shotgun microphones aren't a problem, either.
This device alsso protects against microwave pickups and laser reflection pickups.
One unit will protect up to 150 sq. ft. For protecting rooms larger than this, we recommend an additional jammer for each 150 sq. ft. of area.
The illustrated instructions (right click to download) show suggested jammer placement for different types of rooms and situations so that you can optimize the protection the AJ-34 provides.
Operates on 9V volt alkaline battery (included).
The unit measures 4" x 2.5" x 1.5".

A security device is a good investment, but it can do only so much. We offer excellent security devices, and we want you to get the most from your purchase. The following tips will help. We sell some security devices to consumers, so first some tips for those customers. Then some tips for our corporate customers.
Home security. You may have heard the expression, "When seconds count, the cops are only minutes away." Cameras and other detection devices are great, but what's the execution plan? Don't think "detect and report," think "detect and protect." The most effective home protection device is a shotgun. Typically, it doesn't need to be fired to have the desired effect. But this isn't the only protection measure. You can also have an escape and assembly plan, a safe room, or some other measure. Yes, install those detection devices. But don't think that simply knowing your perimeter is breached makes you safe.
