FAQs
- What's the difference between a mobile scanner, flatbed scanner, and portable scanner?
A mobile scanner can store scanned text for later transfer to computer. A flatbed scanner is large and heavy and the most powerful of the three. In between mobile and desktop, you have the portable. It makes good, fast scans directly to your computer.
- Is it accurate?
Yes. The accuracy question for today's scanners doesn't come into play until you get to the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) part. It's a function of the software. This device comes with a software suite that is widely recognized for its quality.
- Can I use it in place of a desktop scanner?
For most applications, yes.
