The Complete Performance Profile includes a 30-minute results consultation and allows for the assessment of eight essential performance factors. Take the samples in the privacy of your home, send them in, and get your results.
This is the most comprehensive assessment package we offer. The Elite Profile evaluates and measures the ten biological factors most strongly influencing your athletic performance potential and overall health and wellness.
How It Works
The Elite Performance Profile kit consists of sample devices, simple instructions, and a pre-paid mailer.
It's really very easy to use. Just follow the simple instructions and mail the kit in. The lab will conduct the assessment on the samples provided, and then provide you with the results.
Each assessment will be accompanied by specific, easy-to-follow instructions and will clearly indicate whether a blood spot, saliva, or urine sample is required.
The Ten Tests
The ten essential performance factors this kit tests for:
Glycohemoglobin (Blood Glucose) Level. To feel and perform well, your body needs a steady supply of fuel. A simple form of sugar known as glucose is the body’s primary source of this fuel for both your muscles and your brain. While glucose is your body’s main fuel source, it can be toxic in excess amounts.
Mineral/Bone Status. An elevated NTx level indicates a mineral imbalance and accelerated bone turnover, both of which result in a dramatically increased risk for stress fractures, chronic muscle tension, and poor energy production.
Vitamin D3 Level. Optimal Vitamin D levels are critical for athletes for endurance, power, immunity, and bone health.
Hormonal/Recovery Status (DHEA, Testosterone, Estradiol). The physical and mental effects of training and racing can lead to hormonal imbalances. These can inhibit your athletic performance, interfere with your body's ability to recover, and increase your risk of illness.
Advanced Metabolic Type. Because every athlete is a genetically-unique individual, each has specific nutritional needs As a result, every athlete's need for food and nutrients will differ--sometimes dramatically. This online survey will provide you with a "blueprint" of your body's specific metabolic needs. That information will allow you to fine-tune your diet for optimal energy and performance.
Ferritin/Iron Level. Low iron levels, as indicated by reduced ferritin, can lead to poor performance, fatigue, slow recovery, and legs that are heavy or sore.
Essential Amino Acid Status. Optimal levels of the 8 key essential amino acids are critical for muscle recovery and performance. Even a single deficiency in one these key amino acids can leave you fatigued and injury-prone. Plus, you will have difficulty building or maintaining muscle.
Essential Fatty Acid Status. No cell, tissue, gland, or organ can work properly without Essential Fatty Acids. Optimal EFA levels are a critical factor in optimum athletic performance. They reduce inflammation, increase endurance, shorten recovery, protect the joints, elevate mood, improve concentration and promote deeper sleep.
pH Balance. This simple urine test will indicate acid/alkaline imbalance. When your body is overly acidic, you are likely to fatigue easily, recover slowly, or experience chronic muscle soreness and joint pain.
Find the nutritional or hormonal factor that's holding you back from peak performance.
Discover specific health issues in the early stages.
Prevent long-term, chronic problems arising from deficiencies identified by this comprehensive assay.
Monitor the effects of your nutritional and training regime.
Make corrections based on the 30-minute, professional consultation that is included in this package.
Why It Matters
What's your most important piece of athletic equipment? Your body. If you want a competitive edge, it starts with knowing your own body.
How hard can you actually train?
How fast can you actually recover?
Are you spending your training dollars the best way?
Get this kit and find out.
In the near term, you can make corrections that boost your performance. In the long-term, you can prevent chronic, debilitating injury and illness.
About 80% of all athletes have inadequate levels of the essential amino acids. The lack of one essential amino acid can not only reduce the body’s ability to build and maintain muscle, it can interfere with the production of key digestive enzymes, neurotransmitters, and hormones.
Almost all energy drinks acidify the body. As a result, they promote depletion of intracellular water and the key minerals critical for performance and recovery.
Drinking milk and eating dairy may be harming your performance! Not only are commercial dairy products an inadequate metabolic fuel for many athletes, an excess amount of calcium can inhibit levels of a magnesium, a critical mineral involved in muscle energy and recovery.
Vitamin D is essential for optimum athletic performance. In the mid 1900’s, the extraordinarily successful Russian and East German Olympians used sun or sun lamps to increase their endurance, muscular strength, and physical recovery.
Almost 70% of all female athletes have less than optimal levels of iron. Inadequate protein intake, excessive perspiration, and high-impact activities are common causes.
