The cViewSERVER Crystal Reports scheduler automates your Crystal Reports distribution. Just set up your distribution criteria (who gets which report and when), and it will automatically send each report as an email attachment, to file, or to print. Try it for free.
cViewSERVER works with Crystal Reports 9.0 and all later versions.
cViewSERVER works with Crystal Reports 9.0 and all later versions. Let this scheduler automatically send reports in your preferred format. On the schedule you set, to the people you want it to go to.
To test implementation, run the trial version. If it works, so will the licensed version.
Automatic distribution. Set it and forget it.
Database password security control. Users get the report without needing to log into the database.
Exception reporting. cViewSERVER tells you if there's a problem.
Independent of your email client. No need to dig into arcane mail settings.
Independent of your e-mail server. cViewSERVER doesn't load down your e-mail system.
Multiple email addresses for one report. Send to a list.
Reports displayed in the body of your email message. As an option, do it this way instead of as an attachment.
Parameter control. You can set several parameters for increased flexibility.
Your cViewSERVER output can be in any of several formats. You can export files in such formats as .rpt, .doc., .xls, .rtf, CSV, HTML, and PDF. In fact, cViewSERVER will export all file types that CR does. The exception to this is XML. However, our XML UFL solves this problem (it's due to a limitation in CR, with a UFL as the most efficient way to overcome it).
Use cViewSERVER to:
Run the same report multiple times with different parameters and/or destinations.
Maintain an external list of values and destinations for a group of scheduled reports.
Modify fields in formulas. That includes Record Selection and Group Selection, so a pretty useful feature.
Modify database locations.
Schedule reports to run at a specific date and time. For example, hourly, daily, business days, weekly, monthly, or last day of month. Or even just once. Distribute automatically. You don't need to be logged in (or even awake).
E-mail reports in any of the (many) available export formats.
Installation/usage note: It's best not to install a scheduling tool on the same machine that's running CR. This can get you into run time file usage problems.
