Windows 95 or 98 users can check what servers they’re connected to when they’re online.

While connected to the Internet, click on the Start button, Programs and MS-DOS Prompt. MS-DOS will open in a separate window with the Windows directory showing. Just type netstat at the prompt and hit Enter. After a few seconds a list will pop up with the servers you are connected to and the state of the connection.
