Thumb-drive USB devices that allow you to you recover deleted data (and other data) from specific devices, such as Apple iPhone, Android, or PC.
Why Data Recovery?
Devices that can recover data are perfect for detectives and security specialists, but also useful for:
Parents monitoring kids.
Users who want to recover their own lost data.
Users searching for unauthorized content on their computer or mobile device.
A business that needs to recover important files that were deleted (inadvertently or otherwise).
Why do we sell these?
Mindconnection got into the electronic translator business and the scanning pen business back in the late 1990s. Customers have come back to us, asking about other electronic gear, often looking for solutions to computer problems. Anybody who has lost a file knows that's a problem. We like to help, so now we offer data recovery products.
The PC Stick is our most popular, which should not be surprising because PCs are so popular and typically hold many more files on their hard drives than mobile devices do on their storage cards.
The Data Recovery Stick is a thumb-drive USB device that will help you recover data, even if deleted, from a PC (and other physical drive systems, via your PC). Even the most novice PC user can easily recover deleted files, even if the Recycle Bin has been emptied. Simply connect the stick and follow the prompts to recover the data you are looking for with the click of a button. Your data--or someone else's.
Stockouts (rare, but they happen)
Yes, we do have stockouts on some of these items. And that is, fortunately, rare and short-lived.
How does it happen? Occasionally, a business or agency customer will order a large quantity. If you need a large quantity and the shopping cart won't let you order that quantity, order a smaller quantity now and a larger one later. If this doesn't work for you, just write to email@example.com and we'll do what we can to accomodate your needs.
People are buying more gear today than in the past. This is driven by two main factors. The first is that prices have come down, while functionality has gone up.
The second is that people are buying gear to solve problems in their lives; that is, they buy for specific intended uses rather than just to be cool or to have something interesting to show their friends.
You've probably heard expressions such as "Man up" or "Lawyer up." The first means to rise to the challenge and do what needs to be done. The second means to hire a legal team to represent your interests in a serious, "we will win" way. The expression "gear up" has its roots in these kinds of expressions, and it means to stop depriving yourself of the electronic gear that can save you time and money, or in some other way help you get more from life.
If you want security on your data-saving devices, you need good gear to get it. Here are some other tips:
Log off a PC when you're not using it.
Don't open suspcious-looking e-mails.
Password your mobile device to prevent unauthorized access.
Don't rely on programs that stay resident and "shield" your PC or device. These suck down resources, and they can lull you into developing sloppy habits.
And don't forget your personal safety and security. This means no texting while driving, and when you're at work don't be "socializing" on your mobile device unless you want your performance to suffer (and then lose your job). Your device is your assistant, not your master.
