Mini vs Lite

The jetBook Lite uses AA batteries instead of li-poly rechargeable. This makes it possible to reduce the price, and also to economize energy used by the screen. You can read 23 hours nonstop without a recharge. (You can use rechargeable AA batteries if you want to.)

The jetBook Mini is a capable, but inexpensive eBook Reader. Its 5" TFT screen allows you to read ebooks for up to 90 hours without charging the batteries. Its small size means ultra portability, and it's easy to use. Weighs only 5.8 ounces, and comes in many exciting colors.

The jetBookLITE is fully compatible with Mac computers, Windows-based PCs, and Linux computers. It reads more file formats than competing products such as the Kindle.

The Ectaco jetBookLITE is a portable pocket library that can store thousands of books in the world's major languages and in common file formats (unlike some competing products). It can store music and pictures, too. And it weighs only 7.5 ounces.

jetBookLITE incorporates SD Card expandability (SD cards of up to 2 GB and SDHC cards of 4 to 16 GB in size, cards available separately) in addition to the built-in 100 MB flash memory so that you can easily store not only a complete library but your favorite music files and pictures too. With its USB mass storage capability, simply connect the jetBookLITE to your PC with a USB cable and add new content or backup what you already have on the device instantly.
