Our basic philosophy is we are a customer advocate. As our products are sent factory-direct, the manufacturers' policies apply. We try to help the customer any time those policies are unfavorable.

Your return policy used to be an unconditional 30 days. Now it's a lot more strict. Why did you change it? While most of our customers are very good people, we had a few who were abusing the return privilege. For example, they would buy a translator, take a trip, and then return it within 30 days. That left us with the option of selling used translators as new (sorry, not an option!) or eating the returned ones. This was a "save the business" decision.
What if I have unusual circumstances? Then we make unusual allowances. We have a policy, not laws of physics, governing returns. The policy sets out expectations. We can't anticipate every circumstance. Write to us at This e-mail link if you have unusual circumstances and we'll do what we can.
What about the cost and hassle of return shipping? If you bought something at Best Buy, would you charge them mileage if you drove to take it back? What if you mailed it to them?
What if I have bought from you before? Will that give me any leverage in your return policy? Absolutely. The normal policy must apply to all customers equally. However, our interpretation of unusual circumstances includes your history with us. Since our policy states it must balance fraud and fairness, and we already know we can trust a previous customer (or a customer who bought many things in one order), you get an edge if you are an existing customer.
What if I don't have the original packaging? It's not the end of the world. Package the product the best you can, but ensure the mailing container is sufficient for protection and at least as good as the original. Remove any labels, if re-using mailing containers. Do note that if you don't have the original product packaging, we can't treat the product as new.
