I've been dealing with stress issues since this Obamageddon thing took off and the economy imploded under the massive federal spending. It's been tough. Really tough. I can't afford a shrink, so have been looking for other things. I've listened to dozens of self-help and rah-rah audiobooks now. This course provided further insight, and I am benefitting. I give it a four star rating because I know things the instructor doesn't!

With all the crap going on (mostly due to govt racking up trillions of debt, sending the economy into a tailspin), I've had a rough time of the past two years. It hasn't gotten better, but now I am dealing with it better. I was having headaches and depression, plus backaches and feeling generally run down. Medication didn't help, because the cost of it added to my stress. This got so bad that my therapist threatened to fire me as a patient because I was making even her feel depressed. So I did her a favor and quit going. The worst thing of all is I lost the love of my life. She'd had enough of my misery and could not believe I was no longer getting help. I thought I'd never hear from her again, but she sent me the link to this course and I hopped on it. Things have changed in my life and a mutual friend recently told me my ex may be open to trying again. What a gift.

Life has been hell, with everything falling apart. My stress was unbelievable. Medication for it was making me stupid, causing problems that led to even more stress. I got a book on stress, and it didn't help (think positive and be happy isn't realistic). But this course--wow! Now I get it. Now I am in control.

This course addresses several issues with stress. Most of the material I had seen previously was of the "smile and be happy" thing which isn't really possible. This helped me reduce the sources of stress and also develop better stress coping skills. A few of the concepts could have been expanded upon.

Why isn't this on the NY Times best seller list? I've read a dozen self-help books and did the Tony Robbins thing but really didn't get the answers I needed. Working through this program for half an hour a night, I made a breakthrough almost every night. This was a game-changer for me.
