This course made me really stop and think. I actually got more out of this course than I did out of the Covey 7 Habits book. I would have given this five stars, except the practice exercises are sometimes too hard and don't give as much guidance as it seems they should.

All the self-help books tell you what to, but they don't look at what people actually do and try to get you from there to the right place. It's like a jigsaw puzzle with half the pieces missing. This course gave me those pieces. The concept is kinda quirky, but I get it. Look at what people do wrong, their bad habits, and see what to do instead. This way, you don't have to try to be perfect and then feel like a failure. You're always doing better than where you started.

Some of the material wasn't new to me, and I had only 6 of these habits. But it did make me think about some changes that would be good to make.

This course helped me see a couple of bad habits of mine that have been holding me back all of my life. It helped me understand how to go about correcting those, and already my boss has completely changed his attitude toward me. I think out of the 11 habits in this course, two were really bad on my part and five others are just areas needing improvement. Just nailing the one, however, has been a game-changer. This course has already paid for itself 10 times over. Real insight. Amazing.
