These kinds of questions are prevalent in the workplace, in our personal lives, and in the course of our every day existence. Unfortunately, they go unanswered. They don't even get asked. We accept a cycle of repeated failure and repeated adjustment as normal. It doesn't have to be. You can solve problems permanently.

While it is not possible to solve every problem in a cost-effective fashion, in a timely fashion, or even at all, it is possible to solve most problems cost-effectively and permanently. That includes problems that you have tried repeatedly to solve, have given up on solving, or haven't even attempted to solve.

This course does not provide you with a cookie cutter formula or one-size fits all approach. Nobody knows your situation as well as you do. This course provides you proven techniques so you can arrive at, and implement, the solution that is most appropriate for you.

The fact that the very efforts made to solve a problem often make is worse is a plot concept for many movies and television sit-coms (they are called situation comedies precisely for that reason). But this is also a part of real history and a part of current events, some of which we refer to in this course. It's history you don't have to repeat, and a current event you can put in your past. Permanently.

Real problem solving involves using the important skills, insights, and techniques you will learn in this course. There are no tricks or shortcuts, but you don't need to be a genius to solve problems effectively, either. You just need to understand and apply the material in this course.
