This is the second in a series of courses designed to quickly give you the
skills and understanding you need to succeed in your projects.
But,
"quickly" is relative. You can’t be a "One Minute Project
Manager." However, if you’ll apply yourself to these lessons, you will
dramatically improve your proficiency in a matter of weeks.
In fact, if you set
aside an hour each day for digesting and applying the information in this and
subsequent courses, you'll be soon mastering the Intermediate level courses—even if you have no prior project management experience or training.
This second course shows you how to start a project—and how to do so
without laying landmines for yourself. You must know this material if you want
to avoid setting yourself up for failure. This course will help you develop the
expertise to do that. Many projects that would have otherwise been
stunning successes have turned into total disasters because of improper
initiation.
Don't allow yourself to be one of those people who fails for
such reasons. If you must fail, do so because of the difficulty of the
project--not because you tripped over your own feet. Yet, this tripping
is what many project mangers do time and again.
We'll show you how do
dance the project management initiation dance gracefully.
Subsequent courses help you to develop further expertise.
