No security problems, which is an advantage over some competing readers and why I bought it. The jetBook is well designed and pretty user friendly. A minor issue is I get confused on the controls once in a while, and lose my place in a book. Other than that, I really like it.

After Amazon took a book off my Kindle, and BTW, I PAID FOR that book, I put the thing on eBay and bought the jetbook instead and I like the jetbook much better.

This is a higher quality than the Kindle which frankly is a piece of crap. However, Kindle does have the auto download feature for those who want to pay for it and that's a huge convenience. I have other devices I download to all the time anyhow so to me it's not an advantage. I want a nice piece of hardware and that's what this is. I can see a few places for minor improvement, but I really like it.

I tried the Kindle and didn't like it. I tried the jetBook and it's a much better experience. And it costs a whole lot less.
On the downside, it doesn't get titles all on its own. But that's only a minor issue with me because I just download titles from my library and transfer them to the reader. I don't pay any subscription fees to my public library, so this is a big bonus. The library has more free titles than I could possibly read.

This reader is perfect for me. I wasn't sure about which one to buy, as there's all this hype. The sales guy at this company listened to what I needed and then told me the pluses and minuses of this reader. In plain language and straight talk. I had a few questions, got honest answers, and bought this. I'm glad I did. I almost never leave it at home. It has a few limitations, but so does every other product. This just has fewer of the limitations that matter.
