The Secure Digital (SD) card defines the device. For any given language set, that SD card comes with it (e.g., if it's the Spanish 900, the Spanish SD card is included--that's what makes it the Spanish 900). Use SD cards to add languages to your Ectaco 900 Series translator. SD cards come in two-language versions and multi-language versions.
900 Series GPS Map Cards
The 900 series comes in the Standard, Deluxe, and Grand package (same translator, different accessory bundles). The 900 Grand comes with a GPSR (Global Positioning System Receiver). You can also buy the GPSR as a separate accessory. Your map options are below. Just add the GPS map card(s) that you want, and you're all set.
Changing the language set is very easy. It involves three simple steps:
Pop out the existing card.
Push in the new card.
Push the reset button, and then do the normal startup.
You can change the cards back, any time you want.
Here's a tip on card management. Buy a little zip-up case and keep your cards in it. There are cases for SD and other cards available at office supply stores. Support your local store by getting such a case, and you also win by keeping your cards organized.
