Title: Data Center Lessons Learned.

Presentation Summary:

Mr. Kniery will present lessons learned about finding fundamental solutions for cooling server racks in high density (200w/sf) data centers. Practical applications as to how to assess your existing data center and how to troubleshoot cooling issues will be presented. He will review actual results from recent commissioning of two data centers at his company. Energy savings tips will be included as well and there will be time for questions.

 

Speaker Bio: 

Mr. Kniery has a BSEE and spent his career in industrial and commercial operations including Procter & Gamble, ARCO Oil and Gas, and Hewlett Packard. He managed a team who won the IFMA 2001 Facility Management Award. His focus for Countrywide is design, startup and commissioning of corporate HVAC systems including central plants, building air systems and BMS controls. Solving the challenge of high density cooling for data centers using conventional elements is another area of focus..
